Help us with a General Donation
The Theraplay Institute, a 50lc(3) nonprofit organization, relies upon the generosity of our donors in so many ways. People are always surprised to learn how small our staff is and how much we achieve with so little. We operate without major benefactors or endowments - entirely with funds earned through our programs and small donations from people who have been touched by Theraplay in some way.
Your donation to our general fund will help us keep our administrative office open, buy supplies for Theraplay treatment, produce our newsletter, plan our next International Conference and more - the nuts and bolts that keeps Theraplay going as an international presence to help families become healthy, happy and secure.
Dedicate Your Donation for our Scholarship Fund
The Theraplay Institute maintains a scholarship fund to help therapists who work with impoverished clients to receive our training. The fund may also support bringing training to third world countries. If you would like to earmark your donation for this purpose, please check the box on the donation form. Your gift will make someone very happy!
Donate In Memorium
You may also dedicate your donation to a deceased loved one or colleague. Often, family members will suggest donating to us in lieu of flowers, in which case we set up a special memorial fund in that person’s name. This fund will be earmarked for a special purpose chosen by the family or by The Theraplay Institute’s board of directors if the family has not directed otherwise. When making your donation, please provide the name of the person you are memorializing and we will direct your donation to the proper fund. The family will be notified of your donation unless you check the anonymous box.

TheThe Theraplay Institute mourns the loss of David Christensen who passed away on December 27th. David was our Executive Director’s father. In his life he was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who also served as Executive Director at several non-profits serving children and families. He loved talking about the work that we do at the Institute and thinking up ideas for us to try. Our condolences to the family and our heart-felt appreciation to those who contribute to Theraplay in his memory.
