Check-in and coffee service begins at 8:30 a.m.; the training will begin at 9:00 and end at 4:30 each day. A one-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks are offered.
Prerequisite: Level Two Theraplay & MIM or Level One training with at least three years of experience with Theraplay

Master Class Day 1: Using the Emotional Interaction Style (EIS) Rating System with the MIM

The EIS was developed in Finland in 2006 and updated in 2013 to include family MIM tasks to capture the qualitative nature of triadic relationships. The EIS is used to systematize observations, link observations into interpersonal and attachment theoretical conceptualizations, and offer a psychometric way to gather data for research purposes.
Background, reliability and validity data for the EIS will be presented , and relations to other observation methods discussed. Scoring and interpretation will be practiced with 3 case examples.
Master Class Day 2: Advanced Supervision Opportunities
July 14, 2013 9:00 – 4:30, at The Theraplay Institute 6 CE’s
Present your case for consultation, or simply come and observe other advanced clinicians sharing their work. Practicum students will be given preference for the six slots, and can also earn up to five practicum credits for attending.
Deposit
Attendance at the trainings will be limited, so early registration is suggested. A minimum 25% deposit of the Standard Fee is required at time of registration. Balance must be paid within 21 days of the training to secure registration. Outstanding balance payment for Standard and Theraplay Members rates can be made on-line, by phone with a credit card or by mail with a check. Please note that your registration is not secured until your check or payment is received in our office.
