Description
Our mission is to build strong families and emotionally healthy children and adults through Theraplay® based treatment. The Theraplay Institute facilitates child and family emotional well-being by maintaining global standards for the practice of Theraplay through professional certification. We want as many mental health professionals to have access to our certification program as possible, which is why we’re offering a special scholarship open to mental health professionals who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). With this scholarship, supported by your donations, we can provide financial aid to BIPOC professionals as they begin the path towards Foundational Certification. As a Certified Theraplay Practitioner, professionals can implement Theraplay practice into sessions and better serve the children and families in their local communities. Our goal is to train as many mental health professionals in the Theraplay modality as possible so that we can provide diverse communities with the help and support they need.
