Description
In this training, clinicians will learn critical play therapy skills for building and maintaining rewarding family relationships, creating emotional growth, and enhancing family-based social play activities for non-verbal or limited verbal youth. Participants will learn to integrate Theraplay play therapy methods with communication, social training, and behavioral therapy techniques. This introductory program will demonstrate how clinicians can integrate Theraplay play therapy with a family systems lens to strengthen the joining process with caregivers.
