Ana Ferraz

M.A., L.P.C., N.C.C.

Ana is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. She has varied clinical experience in working with populations-at-risk at a not-for-profit community mental health agency. She has training in Theraplay Level 1 & Marschak Interaction Method, Trauma-Informed approaches, and is working towards her EMDR certification.

Ana has experience with supporting children and families through her use of skills that reflect her ability to create a safe therapeutic working alliance that fosters empowerment, understanding, compassion, and attunement. Her practice is informed through the use of a strengths-based approach and incorporation of trauma-informed care, knowledge of brain development, and attachment theory.
