Parenting Connections: Virtual Theraplay Parent Support Group
January 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0
Free
Parenting Connections virtual support groups are a safe space for parents and caregivers to share informal mutual support and discuss parenting challenges and strategies from a Theraplay perspective.
Theraplay is a play therapy that supports connecting and bonding with your child – no matter their age! It uses simple activities requiring little or no materials that will help you to:
– Communicate love, joy, and safety to your child
– Help your child to feel secure, cared for, connected, and worthy
– Help your child grow and thrive no matter what challenges they face
– Support lifelong good mental health for your child
Parenting Connections groups are led by The Theraplay Clinic intern, Liz Humphrey. Each support group session will focus on a different relationship dimension for building and strengthening connection.
Tuesday groups are held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Central time and are open to all parents and caregivers. These support groups are free but we do ask that you register in advance.

She has earned a Postpartum Doula certification specializing in transitions, attachment styles, and ways to strengthen relationships between partners, siblings, or other caregivers.
