Theraplay Local is an all-inclusive package for our four-day Level One Theraplay & MIM program with rates for 14-36 participants. All-inclusive means no surprises for you, makes it easy to apply for grant funding, and simple to administer. We also offer contracts for our Theraplay Overview, Level Two Theraplay & MIM, Sunshine Circles, and Group Theraplay trainings.
WHY THERAPLAY?
Theraplay is an evidence-based child and family therapy designed to build and enhance attachment, self-esteem, trust in others, and joyful engagement. With a track record of over fifty years in practice, Theraplay is based on the natural patterns of playful, healthy interaction between parent and child and is personal, physical, and fun. Theraplay sessions create an active, emotional connection between the child and parent or caregiver, resulting in a changed view of the child as worthy and lovable and of relationships as positive and rewarding. We call this “building relationships from the inside out.”

Theraplay Local includes travel for our trainer(s) to any location in the U.S. or Canada; Theraplay books and Level One Resource Manuals for each participant, CE letters, access to training handouts, and two free web group supervision meetings for each participant.*

PLUS…
At no additional charge we will meet with key administrative and clinical staff to discuss best practices for implementation once the training is complete. Administrative staff are welcome to join us free of charge for an overview of Theraplay, which takes place the first morning of training. This overview will give support staff the understanding of Theraplay they need to optimize implementation and help ensure that clinical staff are providing the highest quality service.
