Theraplay is being used in over 36 countries. Theraplay translates easily into other cultures with only very minor adaptations. Participants must attend a Theraplay training in the country in which they are located and practicing. Click here to view our global affiliates and partners!

The Theraplay Institute has a licensed affiliate in Finland. Clinicians there have achieved a level of expertise so that they may conduct their own training and supervision programs.

The Theraplay Institute has also officially recognized the Alliance for Theraplay in South Korea, a group that organizes training and supervision with our oversight. Only training and supervision sponsored by the Alliance is accepted for Theraplay certification.

The Theraplay Institute issues all certificates. Each Certified Theraplay Practitioner has passed a mid-term and final examination reviewed by the Institute.

The Theraplay Institute does not own the service mark for Theraplay in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Training and supervision in these countries is organized by The German Theraplay Institute.
