TTI charges a rate of $30 per hour for use of the training room and other communal spaces. There is a minimum of one hour required.

A/V equipment: Available for $50 per day. This includes use of a projector with connecting cables, speakers, and screen.

Additional cleaning: This $50 fee is applied per event if the event host is providing catering or the event is expected to be particularly messy (ex: art projects using paint or glitter).

Off-hours surcharge fee: An additional $10/hour (1 hour minimum) is applied if an event is scheduled to start before 9 am, is scheduled after or includes any hours past 5 pm, or is scheduled on a weekend or federal holiday.

The required non-refundable deposit is 10% of the total rental fees or the rate for one hour, whichever is greater.

Rental of the training room space includes use of 15 tables, 40 chairs, couch and table in the front area, 2 rolling whiteboards, kitchen (storage, microwave, and fridge), mats and floor pads, guest wifi, front office, shared facilities, and limited parking.

The Theraplay Institute (TTI) & Building:

The training room has a maximum occupancy of 57 people (with chairs) and is 1,276 square feet of space.

Limited parking is available for event host and their staff. Metered street parking, some free parking on side streets, and a paid parking garage at 1333 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657 are all available options for event guests.

Full refunds minus the nonrefundable deposit are available if a host cancels their event 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time.
